Help for everyone

Using the website

You can browse the public website without an account. The pub portal provides access to the rota and other authorised areas through a named account.

Finding your way around

  • Home introduces the pub. Select the pub logo to return home. Near the bottom, use Write a review on TripAdvisor or scan the review QR code. The button and image open TripAdvisor in a new tab.
  • Opening times are at the bottom of the home page. The home header also has an Opening times shortcut.
  • What’s on lists public events. Use Choose an upcoming event to browse dates grouped by month, with poster thumbnails. Each repeat has its own dated entry. The dropdown initially includes repeating dates for the current month and the next 11 months; use Show later repeats for more. Select a date to open the event details for that occurrence and see the complete poster. Open full-size poster opens the image in a new tab. The event cards and search are also available below the dropdown.
  • Sport shows the sport information published by the pub.
  • Community and committee contains published committee information and documents. Private meeting papers require sign-in.
  • Share offer contains share information and available documents.
  • Support us explains volunteering and has a volunteer enquiry form.
  • Contact us provides contact information and an enquiry form.

On a phone, use the menu button to open the navigation. Opening times and Events are also available directly in the home header. To read a PDF, select its link; your browser normally provides download and print buttons.

Signing in to the pub portal

  1. Select Account sign-in in the website footer.
  2. Enter the username and password supplied by an Admin. Use the exact username you were given.
  3. Select Sign in. If prompted, enter your authenticator code or a saved recovery code.
  4. On your first visit, follow any required password-change and authenticator setup instructions.

Accounts can be Admin, Management, Events, Member or Rota-only. Volunteers do not need to be members to have a Rota-only account. Admin and Management accounts require two-factor authentication; the other roles can enable it too. Accounts are created by an Admin; there is no public self-registration.

After signing in, the menu shows the areas available to your account. Rota-only accounts have access to the rota, My account and relevant help. View rota allows reading, printing, downloads and sharing; Manage rota additionally allows editing shifts and volunteers when granted by Admin. Open Help & guide for instructions.

Authenticator setup and recovery codes

When asked to set up two-factor authentication, use your authenticator app to scan the displayed QR code, then enter its current six-digit code to confirm. Keep the setup code private.

Save the recovery codes securely when they are shown. Each recovery code can be used once if you cannot access your authenticator. Never send your password, setup QR code or recovery codes to another person.

At future sign-ins, use a fresh code from the correct authenticator entry. Keep your phone’s date and time set automatically.

If you cannot sign in

  • Check the username, password and Caps Lock. Use the current website address rather than an old preview link.
  • If you see a wait message, allow the displayed time to pass before trying again.
  • If you have lost your authenticator, select the recovery-code option and use an unused saved code.
  • If you have forgotten your password or lost both your authenticator and recovery codes, contact a website Admin through your usual pub contact, or use Contact us. Do not include passwords or codes in a message.

Always select Sign out when finished, especially on a shared computer. Closing a browser tab does not necessarily end your session.
